Case Study: Tedx Sammamish Women
The Challenge:
For their inaugural event, the TEDxSammamishWomen chapter needed more than just decor; they needed a way to make their theme, "Worthy," a tangible experience for the community. The Solution:
We designed and fabricated a suite of premium photobooth artifacts and stage elements that invited the audience into the brand story. Rather than a one-size-fits-all design, we created various artistic interpretations of the word "Worthy." By using different fonts and designs, we visually emphasized the event’s core message: that worthiness looks different for every individual. The Impact:
These weren't just props; they were photo-op anchors. They provided the community with a high-end way to celebrate and document their presence at the inaugural event. The result was a wave of organic social sharing and a powerful, tactile memory of the day that resonated long after the final talk ended. -
Case Study: Block 41 Seattle
Interactive Artistry. Seamless Integration.
The Challenge:
Block 41, a premier industrial-chic venue in downtown Seattle, sought a way to utilize their signature architectural metal panels for attendee engagement. They needed an activation that was interactive and fun, yet sophisticated enough to match their award-winning interior aesthetic. The Solution:
We designed and fabricated a 3ft x 3ft magnetic Tic-Tac-Toe installation. To ensure the piece felt like a permanent part of the venue rather than a temporary addition, we carefully matched the wood stains and finishes to the existing interior palette. The oversized game pieces were engineered for a satisfying tactile experience, while the entire system was designed for effortless storage and setup. The Impact:
The installation transformed a structural wall into a dynamic brand activation point. It became a natural gathering spot during events, driving guest interaction and "dwell time." By blending play with premium craftsmanship, we provided the venue with a functional decor piece that doubles as a conversation starter. -
Cultural Connection Through Tactile Art
The Challenge:
Introducing traditional art forms to a new generation can be challenging when the barrier to entry, such as the precision required for hand-drawn Rangoli, is high. The goal was to create a way for children in the USA to engage with Indian Diwali traditions through a medium that encouraged immediate creativity without the steep learning curve. The Solution:
We designed and fabricated a custom wooden Rangoli template to serve as a tactile educational tool. By providing a structured, high-quality cast, children were able to use their imaginations to fill the patterns, focusing on the joy of the art and the significance of the tradition. This physical "anchor" turned a complex cultural practice into an accessible, hands-on experience that piqued their curiosity and invited them to explore Indian culture. The Impact:
The template transformed a passive lesson into an active cultural activation. It provided a gateway for community engagement, allowing kids to connect with global traditions in a way that was both fun and memorable. This project highlights our ability to create interactive "activation tools" that move beyond decor to facilitate meaningful human connection and learning.
